IanARROWSMITH(Blyth). Peacefully on 24th January 2016, aged 73 years, Ian, dearly loved husband of Ann (nee Turner), much loved dad (Pops) of Dawn and Darren, devoted grandad to Joshua and Hannah, father-in-law of Les and Kirsti. Ian will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Funeral Service and cremation to be held at Cowpen Crematorium on Friday 5th February at 12.15pm. No flowers please by request, donations in lieu if desired to Dr. I. D. Pedley Research and Education Fund. A donations box will be available at the crematorium.

This is the date I always dread
That early morning phone call whilst still in bed
We flew up the road but it was too late
You were gone too soon intervened by fate
You spread your wings and decided to leave
Left me heartbroken and struggling to grieve
Eight years have gone by and I still shed a tear
