In memory of a great neighbour and friend. The Forty Family.

As neighbours with Ulla for over 50 years we have enjoyed a long friendship, lively debate and delicious coffee and Kuchen on our regular visits to Mertheruny Mill. Ulla was a splendid, forthright person who showed great interest in the successive generations of our family. She will be sorely missed by us all.

"Tante Ursula" as my brother Robert and I referred to her as for the past 13 years of having the blessing of having her in our lives, genetically being the aunt of our dad, but in our hearts the grandma we never had, was the most special, intelligent, loving and humorous soul. I still cannot believe I will never have the chance to talk to her or see her again, but I know that now she at least is reunited with the love of her life, Frank, who she told me so much about. I am so glad she found her happiness within that amazing family she built. I hope that she now looks down upon us, having a smile on her face, knowing that she will live on in our hearts forever. Ich hab dich unbeschreiblich lieb, Tante Ursula, für immer.

To me Ulla was an elegant and beautiful lady with a kind heart and a good sense of humour and she will be missed by all who knew her xx
