Sad, sad news. I used to love our weekly post match pairs on a Monday til 2-3am (but didn’t enjoy the hangovers!). Dave and Christine ran the club superbly and it was a great loss to local snooker when it closed. Really got his North Bank humour and sayings, whether it was “potting the custard”, “welding the ball to the bottom duck”, “norble (noble) effort” or more latterly reading his excellent match reports that usually started with “a four frame salvo”. RIP Davo. Steve and Jeanette

So so sad Dave was always a perfect gentleman. He gave me great guidance over the years and always had time for a chat, that I will always be grateful for.
Love and respect to all the family xx
