JohnPICKAVANCE (Jack)Mr Jack Pickavance, of Rydal Road, Haslingden, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 4 surrounded by his loving family, aged 81. In his working life Jack worked at various mills, his final place of work was Duralay from where he took early retirement due to ill health. Jack was a keen fisherman and was a member of various fishing clubs, but unfortunately had to rest his rods when he could no longer sit in the cold. He also enjoyed doing crosswords and word search puzzles. Jack leaves behind his loving wife Glenys, children Roy and partner Karen, Diane and son-in-law Kevin, Denise and partner Tony, also his grandchildren Hayley, Bethany, Millie, Taylor and Fiona and their partners, and also great grandsons Toby and Max, who were all the apples of his eye. He was also brother to his late sister Jean. Jack also leaves sisters in law, Ruth, Olive and Cathy, as well as nephew and nieces.

His funeral will take place on Friday, November 17 at 10.20am with Service and Cremation at Accrington Crematorium.
