dad it's hard when you miss people but you know if you miss them that means you were lucky it means you had someone special in your life someone worth missing

l can't forget that fateful day you had to leave you went away, a sadness filled me up inside, emotions that l could not hide, tears they came, sadness too, all my emotions just for you, time will heal so l was told, but time could never fill this hole, but here in my heart there is a place, your always there keeping me safe, it's filled with love and happy times, it's never dark your light it shines.

when the sun set upon your life and your body was laid to rest l know you're up in Heaven because God only takes the best l know you're watching over me and it takes away the pain l will carry you in my heart until we meet again my world is a little darker now that we are apart but your memories are shining brightly within my broken heart

Dad, your end came swift and fast and l could not be there to hold your hand and comfort you. It's much more than l can bear l wish l could rewind the clock and have known now what l know l could have hugged one more time before you had to go. In my heart l'll hold you close and there you shall remain, until my time has come on earth when we shall meet again.

dad l still have all the happy thoughts and dreams we had to share the thoughts that seem so empty now as you're no longer there the bond we had was not broken when the final parting came but without you here beside me life just doesn't seem the same
