Mum, l say l miss you all the time but really that just doesn't quite cover it, you are missing from my world and there just aren't any words that could describe how truly difficult some days can be without you, it gets better but even that has it's own hurt too you are always in my thoughts and forever in my heart

Oceans of patience, rainbows of love, a bright ray of sunshine sent from above, mum you filled my childhood with rich golden days, touching my life in so many ways when shadows are dark l reach through the night, the love of a mother shines like a light.

mum you touched the lives of those you loved and we wanted you to stay but you were needed up in heaven and god whispered come this way we know whenever we're lonely and our smiles become a frown we look up to the sky above and they'll be an angel looking down

you were everything l needed and you were always there proud of me at every turn full of love and care so very understanding of what was on my mind your patience never ending and your words so warm and kind

mum no matter where l am your spirit will be beside me for l know that no matter what you will always be with me

mum l often sit in the garden and think of you a while remembering wonderful moments my sadness becomes a smile, for sitting in the garden is my favourite place to be, for l know in my heart you'll be sitting next to me.

mum love is what you took with you and love is what we keep and love still grows and sweetens even through the tears we weep we still feel your presence and still see your face and listen oh so closely so our hearts can still embrace
