BertSALTPassed away peacefully at home on 27th April aged 88. Born in Burslem, to Harry and Dora Salt, Mechanical Apprentice to Ken Jarvis in Stoke before moving to Fairbourne, Wales, and building his families homes and a business there. He built and founded H.SALT & SONS Garage in Fairbourne, where he met and married Irene in 1964. A devoted husband and father to Elaine and John, and Grandad to Henry, Ryan, Oliver, Dylan and Megan. Bert sold his Garage in 1984 to care for Irene as she battled MS for over 20 years. No one who knew him could be in any doubt of just how much he loved Irene. Moving to Taiwan to be with Elaine after Irene passed away in 2006, Bert was able to enjoy socialising and was a firm favourite in the Taipei social scene. His 80th Birthday was especially memorable as he danced on the bar of his favourite establishment. He will be missed and remembered by all who loved him. Nos Da Bert Bach!
