I am so sorry I cannot attend today but I will be raising a glass to you instead. I feel incredibly privileged to have been one of your students at Burraton. Without your gentle guidance and faith in me, I would not have achieved all the things I went on to achieve - you changed my life. You had an amazing ability to make us all believe we were capable of anything we put our minds to. You were so fun and engaging. As a young girl, I watched you playing music with my Dad. You ran choirs and held so many concerts. You produced the most wonderful music. You were inspirational in every sense of the word. The world is a sadder, less beautiful place without you in it but I am so thankful to have spent some time with you, to be inspired by you.
