John Stewart (Stewart)DEANIt is with broken hearts and enormous sadness that we announce the passing of Stewart.

Stewart, aged 77, passed peacefully on the 3rd of April 2024 whilst in the care of St Andrew's Hospice after the bravest of battles gallantly fought.

Dearly loved husband of Sandra, devoted father of Jonathan, Matthew, Ruth and Samuel, proud grandad of Harry, Ada, Ben, Billy and Margot, treasured brother to Jenifer, wonderful father-in-law, brother-in-law, respected uncle and loyal friend to so many.

Oh how we'll miss this marvellous man!

A service to celebrate Stewart's life will take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Monday 29th of April 2024, at 12pm.

Please wear a pop of colour to represent Stewart's love of life.

Family flowers only please but donations to St Andrew's Hospice in memory of Stewart can be placed in a collection box on the day of the Funeral.

Sandra and family. So sorry to hear this very sad news. I have only just found out our family’s thoughts are with you all. I have some lovely memories of Stewart from many years ago when he used to call at ho e when I was a boy to visit us.

Stuart as I knew him, was a kind & generous boss at BT/Openreach. It was not in his nature to hammer home productivity & he treated people as individuals to gain performance & trust. A good & kind man! So sorry for your loss Sandra & family.
